Ugolf Villenave d’Ornon, Best Golfer’s Choice

As every year since the first confinement, LeClub Golf has organized the Best Golfer’s Choice which rewards the most popular golf course in the network. The 2022 winner is Ugolf Villenave d’Ornon (33).

This digital event took place on the LeClub Golf Facebook page. Since 2020, success has been there and this year, we counted more than 40,000 likes (between March 15 and April 27) on all the photos posted and shared by the golf community.

Best Golfer’s Choice, statements

Behind this fun digital event, it is above all an opportunity for golf courses to demonstrate their ability to mobilize their community and to deploy a whole digital communication strategy.

It all started with a qualification phase by region to present the 174 golf courses in the network. At the end of this qualification phase, 32 golf courses qualified for the final phase in “Match Play” mode. Each match play lasted 24 hours (Facebook post with photos of the two golf courses).

Golf Planète met the winner, the dynamic director of Golf le Villenave d’Ornon: Quentin Le Marrec. “Youth and dynamism is a key element of our golf, each teaching pole, field or reception includes young people, which allows us to be often on the same wavelength and to have the same vision of team. We are lucky to have a very close-knit team, even if we do not share the same positions, we communicate and share a lot between us. And inevitably, when it is necessary to carry our club and promote it, each of us , whatever his position, will do it 100% like for the Best Golfer’s Choice contest by sharing and soliciting our respective entourages”.

“Even if the atmosphere is already very good in Villenave d’Ornon, surpassing oneself and the desire to push the limits with a common goal unites the team and our community even more.
The strengths of UGOLF Villenave d’Ornon are therefore necessarily the youth of the teams which gives a real boost of energy and dynamism on events, communication or the direct and friendly relationship with the players”.
