A few days ago, comedian Elliot Loney posted a funny video through his Instagram account titled: Tennis greats congratulate Novak Djokovic on his twentieth victory in a Grand Slam tournament.
Last Sunday, in fact, the Belgrade champion overtook the Italian Matteo Berrettini in four sets to go to lift his sixth Wimbledon trophy. Elliot, so good at making the mimicry and facial expressions of different tennis players, first of all targeted Djokovic himself, who in the video defines himself as the greatest ever.
Later it is then the turn of Rafael Nadal, complete with a pink outfit and headband, who instead labels Nole as “the best after me and Roger, of course”. Instead, the strong Teutonic pronunciation of English is derided from the Austrian Dominic Thiem, while Roger Federer is too busy taking the applause of Wimbledon to sincerely congratulate Djokovic.
Also present was Nick Kyrgios, who provocatively states: “How many games has Novak won against me? Exact. Zero. I don’t even remember the last match against him, since I was drunk. I don’t even remember a point, yet I reduced it to small pieces.” Also present were Jim Courier and Australian Bernard Tomic, whom Elliot really imitates perfectly.
