Serena Williams in Aboriginal Mental Health Support. How will she do it? Serena will donate the proceeds from the sale of part of her wardrobe via the Poshmark resale website to the Black Dog Institute’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Lived Experience Center.
The institute has one main purpose which is to reduce suicide rates. Serena Said: “It is so important to elevate the voices of Australia’s First Nations People and include culturally led, safe and inclusive support for these communities.”
Williams is aiming to raise thousands for the Black Dog Institute through the sale, which will include tennis memorabilia, items from her own wardrobe and some pieces previously belonging to her daughter, Olympia.
Just a few hours before her Williams had come out in favor of her friend Meghan Markle, wife of Prince Hanry of England, who, during an exclusive interview with her husband from Oprah Winfrey.
Serena’s social commitment

Serena and Meghan have been friends for seven years, and the latter attended the royal wedding in 2018. Meghan has watched Williams compete at Wimbledon and the US Open.
Williams has won 73 WTA singles titles: 23 of these are Grand Slam events (all-time record in the Open Era, men included), making her the second player ever to have won more Majors in this specialty behind only Margaret Smith Court, who excels with 24. He has completed the virtual Grand Slam, which consists in winning four consecutive Slams not in the same calendar year, twice (in the two years 2002-2003 and 2014-2015). She can also boast five year-end Master Cups and 19 Premier category tournaments (6 Premier Mandatory, 6 Premier 5 and 7 Premier), as well as 21 Tier I and Tier II titles and a gold medal won at the London Olympics in 2012.
