Vincent Collet has signed a two-year contract to become the head coach of Metropolitans 92, the team announced Wednesday.

Collet, 58, most recently led France in the Olympic Games winning a silver medal in Tokyo. The senior national team selector has worked for SIG Strasbourg, LDLC ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne, and Le Mans in a decorated career at the club level.

The experienced and successful boss takes over the team based in Levallois-Perret heading to the 7DAYS EuroCup and France’s Betclic Elite.

The French team had parted ways with the previous head coach, Jure Zdovc, in late July.
