Tremmell Darden poured a season-high 22 points, including the game-winning bucket for MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg in the 76-75 victory versus Alba Berlin Sunday.

Darden, 40, powered Ludwigsburg to the first away win opposite the team based in Berlin since the 2015-16 season with eight losses in a row painting the picture of the following years. In this case, John Patrick’s side failed to build on an early double-digit lead in the easyCredit BBL Regular Season Round 18 contest, but the veteran swingman rectified the situation with 11 seconds remaining.

Ahead of the Basketball Champions League Round of 16 opener versus JDA Dijon at home Wednesday, Ludwigsburg improved its domestic tally to 12-6.

The hosts fell to 10-5, after dropping a couple of Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games this week. Jaleen Smith recorded a team-high 12 points. Swedish sharpshooter Marcus Eriksson did not suit up. Back in EuroLeague, the team guided by Israel Gonzalez is scheduled to visit Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv Tuesday and host FC Bayern Munich Friday.

Former Arizona standout Parker Jackson-Cartwright erupted for a career-high 40 points as Telekom Baskets Bonn took down Brose Bamberg, 95-81. He connected 13/21 field goals, including eight triples, and also dished out five assists over 35 minutes. His side jumped to 13-5.
