Nigel Williams-Goss is one of the most coveted free agents this summer in Europe and after his stint with Olympiacos, he might end up playing for one of the biggest clubs in Europe.
The former Utah Jazz player who finished the season strong with Lokomotiv Kuban is in advanced talks with Real Madrid and a deal between the two sides may be a reality soon.
On the contrary Pierria Henry despite initial talks, is not going to be part of Real Madrid any time soon. While Henry is a free agent, there’s no deal between Real Madrid and Baskonia about his “tanteo” rights, which is the Spanish version of the restricted free agency.
In short, Henry is a free agent this summer, but not in Spain, where Baskonia will have the right to match any offer. Of course, Baskonia is in danger of losing him for free, however, after getting the buy-out from Luca Vildoza’s sale to the New York Knicks, things might have changed.
It’s still early to predict where Henry might end up, NBA might be knocking on his door and also Baskonia may be in the financial position to keep him with a new contract.
