Barcelona’s season ended Sunday as Real Madrid won the ACB League trophy with a 3-1 run in the finals and according to a report by Mundo Deportivo’s Jose Ignacio Huguet, Nick Calathes wants to leave the club.

Calathes, 33, still has one year on his contract though he is exploring his options to leave Barcelona. Per the report, the Greek/American guard’s relationship with coach Sarunas Jasikevicius has deteriorated a lot in recent weeks and the player is committed to leaving the team.

Fenerbahçe and Maccabi Tel Aviv are among the teams who have shown interest in Calathes, although there are also options for him to return to Greece. In order to do so, Calathes must first reach a buy-out agreement with Barcelona for the remaining year of his contract.

Calathes, who recently became the All-Time EuroLeague assists leader, averaged 7.3 points, 6.4 assists and 4.0 rebounds in 24:30 minutes on the court across 29 EuroLeague games this past season, his second with Barcelona.
