Coming in with the experience of 26 games played in the Basketball Champions League, athletic forward/center Marvin Jones will add to the total as a player of Hapoel U-NET Holon.
Jones, 28, inked a contract for the next season with an option for an additional season, the Israeli side announced Friday. PAOK mateco, Peristeri, and Petrol Olimpija mark his previous experience in FIBA’s top European club continental competition. Combined with his spell at Promitheas, he has spent the majority of the last three seasons in Greece’s Stoiximan Basket League. Set to compete in Israel for the first time in his career, he will join the Winner League defending champions that already retained Frederic Bourdillon, Niv Misgav, and Joe Ragland from last season’s squad and reunited with C.J. Harris.
From helping ZZ Leiden win the betFirst BNXT, Jhonathan Dunn signed a contract to join MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg. The 24-year-old American point guard followed Eddy Edigin, Justin Johnson, Markell Johnson, and Jeff Roberson to the German side.
After keeping back-to-back BBL MVP Geno Crandall and captain Darien Nelson-Henry, the Leicester Riders re-signed Jubril Adekoya as well. Youngster Blake Bowman joined the BCL Qualifiers outfit on a multi-year contract.
Additional depth for Hapoel Jerusalem and PAOK
Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem completed yet another transfer securing the services of 24-year-old guard Or Cornelius for the next season. Previous additions to the squad were Khadeen Carrington, Gilad Levy, Levi Randolph, and Speedy Smith.
PAOK penned 22-year-old guard Nikos Tsiakmas to a one-year contract. Summer signings already added Yannick Franke, Zaccheus Darko-Kelly, Vassilis Christidis, Jaylen Hands, and Vangelis Margaritis plus retained Nate Renfro.
