The Orlando Magic will proceed to the new season without coach Steve Clifford. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the two sides have reached a mutual agreement to part ways.
Terry Stots, who officially exited the Portland Trail Blazers earlier today, is a coach that interested the Magic, Marc Stein of the New York Times reports.
Wojnarowski reports that the Magic will move to a “rebuilding process” after failing to make the 2021 playoffs. This procedure apparently doesn’t include Clifford who had been a part of the team since 2018.
