Maccabi officially adds Austin Hollins

As was foreshadowed by multiple reports, Maccabi Tel Aviv has officially added Austin Hollins to the roster with a two-year contract.

Although his numbers weren’t mind-blowing this past season, averaging 8.1 points per game, Hollins was in fact one of the key pieces in Crvena Zvezda’s effort that ended with three trophies – ABA League, Serbian League, and Serbian Cup.

Prior to Zvezda, Hollins spent two years with Zenit Saint Petersburg where he experienced Euroleague for the first time.

With Oded Kattash as the new head coach, Maccabi has been going through many changes this summer.

Scottie Wilbekin and Ante Zizic won’t be wearing the yellow jersey anymore. At the same time, the club has already added Darrun Hilliard, Bonzie Colson, Alex Poythress, and Guy Pnini with more signings to come. Names such as TJ Leaf and Josh Nebo are also reportedly close to a signature.
