Anadolu Efes signed center Egemen Guven until the end of the 2022-23 season, the club announced. The 25-year-old Turkish big man comes from Efes’ fellow BSL side Bursaspor.

While Guven arrived at Efes, forward Tolga Gecim officially parted ways with the reigning EuroLeague champions.

Guven was having a solid EuroCup run with Bursaspor, averaging 9.9 points and 4.0 rebounds in 19:06 minutes. He recorded a season-high 18 points in a loss to Valencia Thursday (6/1), the night before he officially joined the Turkish powerhouse.

In 2015, Guven had his debut EuroLeague experience as a member of Pinar Karsiyaka. He played for Turk Telekom in 2019-2020 and then Afyon Belediye the next season.

Efes is currently eighth in the EuroLeague standings with a 9 – 9 record.
