The NBA preseason continued with seven games on the schedule and quite a bit of Euro action, although a few names stood out. Luka Doncic and Boban Marjanovic joined forces for the Dallas Mavericks, handing them a 111-101 win over the Utah Jazz.
Luka led the way with 19 points, six rebounds, five assists while the Serbian big had 14 points. Maxi Kleber and Kristaps Porzingis added seven points each. On the opposing side, Jimmy Butler scored 22.
Boban made a spectacle as he always does, this time around he shocked everyone with two straight threes.
Meanwhile, Nikola Jokic logged a double-double with 17 points and ten rebounds but his Denver Nuggets lost to the Golden State Warriors 118-116 in a close finish.
Facundo Campazzo scored six and Vlatko Cancar five points. For the victors, Nemanja Bjelica scored 13.
The New Orleans Pelicans got a comfortable 104-86 win against the Orlando Magic as Jona Valanciunas scored 13 points while also grabbing nine rebounds. Willy Hernangomez added seven and Tomas Satoransky three points.
For Orlando, brothers Moritz and Franz Wagner shared the court with seven and two points respectively.
The Cleveland Cavaliers logged a win too, against Atlanta Hawks with 99-96 on the scoreboard. Lauri Markkanen had 11 points, four rebounds, three assists while Ricky Rubio had eight points and six assists. Cedi Osman scored five.
San Antonio gave some minutes to Euros as well in the loss to Detroit 115-105. Luka Samanic scored six, Jock Landal four while Jacob Poeltl had four points, five rebounds, and five assists.
Similar situation was for the Clippers who lost 113-98 to the Kings. Ivica Zubac scores seven, Nicolas Batum three, and Isaiah Hartenstein two points. Alex Len had five on the opposing team.
