The Chicago Bulls are reported to be interested in trading for newly-crowned EuroLeague and Final Four MVP Vasilije Micic from the Oklahoma City Thunder.
According to Mozzart Sport, the Bulls are consider acquiring Micic and ready to hit the market to get the player’s rights from Oklahoma even before the NBA Draft.
Recently, Micic’s agent mentioned to Novosti that he won’t allow his client to head to the NBA just to be a bench guy. The Thunder acquired Micic’s rights from the Philadelphia 76ers in December. Some months afterwards, Micic led Anadolu Efes to the first EuroLeague championship in the history of the club.
Micic, 27, finished the season in EuroLeague with 16.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.9 rebounds in 29:59. He earned EuroLeague MVP for 2020-21 and then won Final Four MVP as the team claimed the first EL championship in the history of the club.
