AEK confirmed the signing of Greek guard Nikos Pappas, who signed a one-year contract for the 2021-22 season.

The former player of Panathinaikos bounces back from his latest injury, sustained in March 2021 when he signed with Zielona Gora.

From 2013 until 2020 Pappas played for Panathinaikos winning five championship titles and five Greek Cups.

In September 2020 he signed for Hapoel Jerusalem and competed in the Basketball Champions League Final8 at OAKA.

This announcement comes one day after the official addition of Giorgos Bogris, while AEK still has in place a record number of 14 FIBA bans.
